Disabling key in ignition warning

I have been looking for days (searching the forum and on the vehicle) to find a way to disable to key in ignition ding. If I leave the key in and get out I don't like to announce the rest of the world that I did so. Not only that if I'm hunting it tends to scare away the game. Enough of the justification. I was hoping some of the electrical guro's can look at the schematic or know where the wire lead is. I did this on my old 97 tacoma, but it's different on my 08.

D@mn, there is a thread somewhere. Basically, you remove the buzzer from the backside of the gauge cluster. I will keep looking, you look too.

Thats the redneck way of dodging/fixinging the issue. I, too, located the buzzer. It's on a printed board and there must be a wire that triggers it. I found the connector for all the door functions behind the cubby hole, I just don't want to start cutting away. I am trying to find the schematic for the connector to determine which one it is. That way (you/I) can have the reverse tone and other useful tones.

I suppose you could always disable the door switch (that turns on your dome light) and/or put a switch inline with it.

I'd love to do this but don't want to tear apart the cluster and break the bell. Anyone know a code or something?
