I finally finished this write-up ...but it's less than perfect, so please pardon. I usually like to be more indepth and detailed than this, but sometimes in the heat-of-the-moment during the install, you forget to take pictures and get details.

If you guys see any typo's or whatever, feel free to shoot me a PM - I'll do my best to fix them.

This is a writeup on how we (my husband and I) installed my single heated seat in my drivers seat. We bought the kit off ebay and it's the kit from heatedseatkits.com Innovative Heat II.
    http://www.lieblweb.com/TechLinks/HeatedSeat/Heatedseat.htm

This kit does take longer than expected to warm up - close to 5 minutes. So if you do a lot of short trips and are in & out of your vehicle, this kit is probably not the ideal kit for you. I have a 9 mile (one way) trip to work - and by the time I get 1 mile from my house, I feel the heater starting to work. By the time I get 2 miles, it's nice and toasty!! I love these things cuz I'm always COLD and hate the cold weather - anything to help me get warm is a blessing. Obviously, not everyone is gonna install their kits the same. This is a reference on how we did it and may give you some insight on how to approach doing yours.

    Good Luck!
Oh yeah, I haven't posted this anywhere else yet. I figured I'd give you guys the chance to critisize my spelling and grammer before the other forums rip me to shreds! :D

And actually - I think (but not sure) that you have to be sitting in the seat for them to work. I think I read they have sensors in them.

Excellent write up Janster, however I am entirely to lazy to do that install.

I'm suddenly imagining a Mythbusters style experiment where someone has to sit in a vat of ballistics gel :D
