    Hi Folks,

I am new to Tacoma's and to the forum.

I just bought a 2010 TRD Sport 4x4 and so far I really like it.

I want to add a tonneau cover and have narrowed the list down to 3 manufacturers; Leer, ARE and Raider.

Any comments on who makes the best product, has the best customer service, etc.?

    Thanks

Undercover by far. I know it's not on your list but I fully recommend it :D

Second undercover - I love mine. Secure, snug fit, seals very well, and is easy and light enough to take off by yourself.

Love my Advantage Torzatop trifolding cover. Another one not on your list haha. Any reason why you're just down to those particular manufacturers? There are lots of other great tonneaus from other companies. Additionally, what type of cover are you looking for? Hard? Soft? Style?

Off road package, heavy duty tow pkg, color matched bed cap, side step rails.
Depends on your preference for hard or soft....but I've got the LSII hard top from A.R.E. on a dbl-cab short bed 2005 w/OffRoad TRD pkg....very sleek and color key matched with OEM Toyota paint. It's not as easy to remove as a soft cover....but you can undo the connectors and lift it off with 2 people fairly easily if you need to haul something tall in the bed. I use it more as a very large trunk for camping gear, etc.

The hardtops are nice, but I like to have access to use my truck as a truck, so I went w/ the Extang trifecta. Folds up, clean look and comes completely off in seconds. I also have full use of the bedrail system in the bed with the top on.

    I appreciate the feedback.

I'm wanting the hardtop tonneau so I can lock it up. I really like the look of Longhorn Taco's. The ARE top looks cool.

I ended up getting a Leer 700 Tonneau.

It came down to two different tops. The ARE and the Leer. They are very similar but in my opinion the Leer is better. If you look at the edges of the ARE you see they are covered in an ugly plastic edge trim. The Leer has a finished edge. Also, the Leer covers all of the black from the top of the bed. I am very satisfied.
