    A thing or two...
So, I have an 08 PreRunner with the I4 and 5 speed manual, and it is hard to downshift into first unless you're almost completely stopped (<=5mph). I was wondering if this is normal or if I need to take it to the dealer. I searched and only found one random reference to this problem.

    Thanks

Same thing with my 06 access cab I4 5 speed and an '05 I've driven. Now that I'm used to it I don't notice it and over 5 mph 2nd gear gets the job done, just a bit slower at first.

If you do talk to the dealer about it and it's not "normal" let us know. :)

Mine is the same. I have a little over 2000 miles on it.

It's good to hear that it's probably normal; though, I'll probably still mention it when when I'm at the dealership. I'm at around 2100 miles myself.
