All the oil companies are making E10 but some gas stations in certain areas can still get regular gas.

Most of them in the southwest use it. I encountered some stations in Indiana and Michigan that don't use it.

    Nothing yet!
I think they do. I was in Oklahoma City a few weeks ago and saw some stations say that their gas is alcohol free.

Read on another board that Shell never puts ethanol in their premium (V-power).

The pump labeling is pretty worthless. All I have seen just say the gas may contain up to 10% ethanol. Sort of impossible to know what you are getting. Doubtless that is by design.

i work at a shell refinery up in wa and we do not have ethanol capabilities yet. all grades of fuel from my refinery are ethanol free right now. they have broke ground for our ethanol tanks and belive we will have ethanol in our fuels some time in 2010.

They are using cellulosic ethanol from somewhere, they are bragging about it all over the web. I have also seen shell stations (in N. Texas) with ethanol labels on the pumps. But like I said, no idea what is actually coming out of the nozzle...

i was not speaking for shell as a whole im sure they have other refinerys with ethanol in their fuel i was only speaking for the one i work at. the fuel goes from our cat-cracker to our rp&s and to a truck fuel rack and into the fuel trucks that fill up ethanol free.

Most parts of the country now have up 10%E in all grades, but in some areas Super does not. Might take a little work, but call them to find out.

We finally got 10% Ethanol here this summer. As expected, I've lost around .5 - 1 mpg in the truck and hope it doesn't cause long term problems w/ my 1981 moto...

Yes, the Shell around here uses 10%, and the independent stations use 15%.

There are plenty of places around here that don't put ethanol in their gas...

Sam's Club's gas is ethanol free and was only $2.16 a gallon today.

Lots of places that do put ethanol in don't have it in their premium gas even when the pump has a generic ethanol label.

All the shell stations in my area say up to 10% Ethanol. Washington State requires 10% in all fuels except aircraft. It does vary state to state though.

Many states mandate. I would be willing to bet that the Peoples Republic of New Jersey does. I know here in SC I can't find any station without it.

AZ mandates a certain %, around 15% if I remember right and it changes in different seasons.
