Its probably a combination of the flexy Taco frame and shitty stock suspension. Mine rides pretty good now that I've had sliders welded on (stiffened the frame) and replaced the stock suspension with some decent stuff. It rides like a truck, somewhat stiff, but way better than stock. I want it to drive like a truck.

BTW I think by "stiff ride" people mean that the suspension doesn't really dampen bumps like a SUSPENSION should.

You need some tires with bigger sidewalls my friend. 265/65 is worlds apart from a 285/75. The Tacoma does shutter a bit when you hit the harsh bumps. My solution was ditching the say bar which significantly reduced the shutter you feel and than I went with taller sidewall tires. Also check your tire pressure. Anything above 35psi and it will be mostly a stiff ride. Let some air out and go whoop on that sh%#t. You need to break in the suspension.

x2.... The seats (TRD) are plush. the Toytec lift + TSB makes it ride the way its supposed to

Try the Toytec lift & the dakar ome leaf pack than its even a greater jump in quality of ride than going from stock to the toytec.
