ok so about a week ago I noticed I was missing a valve stem cap(ya know for the tires, where you put air in). I thought "HMMMMMM!!! some kid stole it...whatever, these chrome caps came with the tires, I didn't ask for em.
Now about a week later I'm missing another cap on the same side, so passenger side has been raped  I'm pretty sure its happening at my girlfriends place so I watched out the window at my truck a little bit last night but saw nothing. Idiots didn't take the chrome sleeve cover thingy too??? wtf take it all you dumb whore!!! lol

Anyways, is there a way to lock these damn things on besides glue? maybe double nut?
I figure I will just replace them with the standard black plastic ones to cover the nipple and thats enuff. I kinda want to put a hate message on a new chrome one and have them steal it again.

and yeah I could bitch about something more relevant but this is about all the drama I got going on lol. thanx for reading my wall of text

I feel ya- I started out with four of the little nitrogen fill caps and it went to three, two, one. The rest are black. Since the dealer services my truck- I am just assuming each time they would drop one and lose it they would just grab another generic black one :(

    Oh well....

You'll run the risk of busting the valve stem if you do anything more than hand tighten them... Just let it go man...

Hand tighten then put some grease on there so "Jack Knob" can't get them off and gets fricken grease all over his hands.

believe me, that was the least of my concerns ;)

I had 2 sets of anodized ones slowly dissappear over the course of about 3 weeks. I finally had enough to the point where I waited at my window for a couple hours to finally catch the little bastard stealing them. It turns out that even in broad daylight with little to no concern of being caught a little 12 year old boy had the balls to swipe them. So without looking like some crazy idiot ripping apart a little kid, I decided to bring all of them together (his friends were just down the road, riding they're bikes) and give them 1 and only warning otherwise I would drag each and one of them to their parents and deal with their parents frist hand. btw each kid had their bike nicely "pimped" out with MY valve caps. Anyways, I decided to let them keep the caps because I think I scared them beyond my intentions and to this day they've all been pretty good. They always say hi and seem to be alot more polite around the neighbourhood in general.

Now just for my own peace of mind, I bought the chrome caps that look like a nut (not the one in your pants). ;) I tighten them down (with a wrench) just enough that you can't twist them off with your hand easily and just keep that wrench in my truck for my own use.

Excellent job Agent7! You handled that in a very fair and mature way!!!! Those kids love you for not being a "rat"...:) best to save the ratting for when they steal your tires....heh hee! Good job man, I mean that sincerely.
