I have been looking for some dual purpose sliders / steps and ran into these
    http://4wheelonline.com/NFAB_Rock_Rails.133840.447311#

They are made by N-Fab and are supposed to be functional rock rails with removable steps unlike the N-Fab nerf bars which are not to be used as sliders.
I was wondering if anybody has any reviews on whether or not they are any good.

    Thanks!

I love them. I'd get them if shipping wouldn't kill me here in Newfoundland.

I read through the "Key Features" a little closer and it says it "Bolts to Vehicle Body" which seems sketchy. It looks like Shrockworks sliders with grip tape is the way to go!

Bump! Any hardcore wheelers have an opinion on this design?

You would think it'll be better to mount to the frame. Thats too bad.

I'm having trouble finding a slider set up for my Tacoma that can be shipped to Canada
