You don't even need to do that I believe. You use your existing fob's keypad assembly which I think has the immobilizer chip in it. So basically your buying the outer case with a built in switchblade blank.

The biggest issues with these are the blanks are usually made of a cheap metal that can break and it was difficult to get a good cut and the location of the immobilizer chip is now relocated so some people had reported issues of no starts-at least when the switchblades were purchased for the new Accords which I used to own.

Edit: Well after reading further it seems it does come with everything it so it would have to be programmed by a dealer which unless your lucky would cost an hour of shop labor. Also, you would want to make sure the FCC ID matches or else the Fob won't talk to the receiver in the car.
