alternator wonder

so i have out my stereo setup into my taco from my other rig. Since i drive my truck more. Question is whats the output/load rating on our alternators.

im asking because ive fried 3 alternators in my other rig due to power drain and having my alternator running at 2/3 constant load(im assuming).
So wondering if my total power from my stereo is 2200w, how much does that make the alternator work? And wondering if i need to perhaps either build one to handle the power load, or do you think i should be ok.

what would you recommend, building a tougher alt, or perhaps buying an aftermarket that could handle the power load. Not to mention my soon to be HID kit, rear lights, and box lights to add to the mix

 

no i would get a capacitor and add it to your system

 

have had one since day one. Im running a 4 farad, but that still doesnt really affect anything, the alternator still has to work to keep the battery and the cap charged.
