Any pics of a motorcycle loaded into a double cab short bed?

Title says it all. I looked through most first pages in photo section, nada.

I figure a moto back tire would end up about 3 inches from end of tailgate with back half of wheel hanging off end of tailgate. Just wondered what that would look like.

or, would you recommend against a 5ft bed for hauling a motorcycle?

I hauled my GSXR 1000 in the bed the other day... The rear tire was about 5inches on the the tailgate... It did just fine...

I was actually surpised on how good it did...

Cool.

I guess if it's tied down well enough, no need for a bed extender gate.

Can anyone confirm that hauling a normal size dirt bike in DC short bed, cannot use bed extender gate?

Measure from wheel to wheel at the longest point. The bed is about 60" long and the height is about 18". So that would make your total length about 78" with the gate down if you went straight back. Subtract about 3-4" for where the bed extender will sit plus the diameter of the bed extender bars. The bed width is 56". You have about 80" if you put it in on a diagonal with the tail gate up. About 98" on a diagonal with the tailgate down.
