Tube steps and Bug deflector.
First, thanks to all for the warm welcome to the forum
I have two questions that I was hoping to get some input on. I am looking at getting a pair of Challenger stainless steel tube steps from a Toyota dealer, who tells me they are OEM. Does anyone have these? If so, were they an easy install, any problems with them, and do they flex when stepped on? Also, do tube steps help protect from door dings? I am also considering the Bugdeflector II, but from looking at it I am concerned that the thickness of the deflector may interfere with the hood closing properly. Any information on these two items would be appreciated. Thank you. |

I have an OEM style deflector that uses existing holes, no drilling required, for sale. It is clear. I was going to paint it (on the back side, so the paint will not scratch or pit) white to match my truck, but have since decided not to go with it. New, in box, never installed.
It is a Lund, BTW. |

I got one for Christmas. No problems closing the hood.
