Nice truck! Reading the title I thought you'd gone to a Ridgeline.... :puke:

But you kept it in the family so I don't think of it as the dark side. :D You just super sized it.

You'll be back. Everyone is allowed one mistake now and then. Even if it is just a minor one.

No it's cool, my buddy did the same thing, but with an 03. He likes it real well and he needed a change, been driving Tacomas for a long time. He keeps throwing the V-8 in my face and that's starting to wear thin...so don't do that. He was kind of surprised about the timing belt issue at 90,000 miles, he is going to drop around 800-1000 dollars, I don't know what you would have to spend ? Good luck with this truck, but please still hang out with us, it's all good.

timing belt?? my brother is a diesel tech for Mercedes Benz and he said the only thing he would worry about is the 6 spd auto transmission only lasting till 200K miles or so. not like that 22R tacos where you can empty the trans fluid, fill it with rocks and punish it on a daily basis for 20 years straight.

Well said Duff, that is true. I have heard about this T belt issue, Audi I guess is the same way, I was fortunate and stumbled into the 4.0 L, T chain, I knew nothing of this info. prior to the purchase.
