So I've seen more and more threads with people having burned headlights w/DTRL. I just purchased my set and would had to have my custom headlights Burned by these! I'd love to install them too.

So anyone know whats a better low watt Bulb to use? I'd like a set of Bright low watt Yellows. I was looking into getting Yellow LEDS instead. I know some people state you can't use them. Is this true?

I'd love to get some of these concerns answered and would appreciate it.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

you can use LEDs, make sure they have load resistors, or you will have hyperblink like a ricerocket...also, LEDs have a very focused output, so i personally would suggest against them.

whats wrong w/ OEM bulbs? i ran those for 1.5 years w/ no problems. about a year ago i swapped in some silverstar amber bulbs from my wife trade in car, havent had any sort of problem w/ them either?

Thanks YOSH. Someone else was telling me not to use LEDS. I figured they would be lower use of wattage. Does the Silverstar make Yellows?

well, its like a blue coating and a little more amber when lit, but i really like them w/ my clear lense!

i would suggest against the LEDs for the focus reason i gave you. yea, looking head on perfectly they will be bright, but if you get out of the 20* range of the main beam...useless! they will run A LOT cooler, but OEM wattage bulbs have worked just fine for me.

well, see the blue thing in the first pair towards the base, thats a resistor, the other two i cant tell.

warning before getting those...those are extremely focused LEDs, therefore no light will reflect at all in your housing, therefore you DTRL output will be about as big as a quarter...basicaly, it will look extremely stupid. ever see those chevy's where their brakelights look to be about the size of a quarter and do not light up the housing whatsoever...that will be you w/ the DTRL if you get those bulbs....you have been warned!!

DAYUM! HAHAHAHA . . . DTRL as a Quarter..That would suck so bad! Thanks YOSH.

Any LEDS on Ebay you see that would work for me? Any Yellow Regular Bulbs you suggest. I trust your knowledge on the lighting.

well, if you want yellow, cant really go wrong w/ the standard selection at vatozone or pepboys...LEDs are not going to work for what you want in this situation at all...
