    im wondering about this too...i figured the two indents on the wheel wells would hold some wood planks but never thought about using the cubby's....can you elaborate?

    Step one: find a dune

    Step two: Launch truck

    Step three: Remove extracted cubby from bed floor.

    This is also the method to remove the dash kit trim ring, and screws from head unit - except step 3 involves more work. :cool:

    OK. So they are at least there, and able to be modded, but why would you have the others close and leave two open. Not a big deal, but I'm taking a couple of posts ideas and making my own custom tuffy "style" boxes. I may even make 4 of them to replace all the compartments. Maybe 1/8 inch steel, powder coated. It should be a hell of a lot cheaper than the actual Tuffy boxes. I'll post pics when they are finished. Not sure when. My friend has the welding ability. Thanks for the replies. I'll be posting again soon. I've got many things on the to do list. Peace.
