They are also diesel or turbo diesel and run 36" tires. And were made specifically for off-road applications. Not to sound like an ass Chris. :D I am looking at one now. I just happen to have 16 of them to look at everyday.

Ridgelines have their place, Tacoma's just have more places to cruise.

They are ok, driving them isn't as spectacular as I thought it would be. They don't even have lockers.:( But, I can beat them up and break them and get praised for doing so. :D

not to bash a suburu or Ridgeline, but i think a lot of their owners mentality is trying to look smarter than others but totally miss the application of the vehicle.

I still love the story I have about the Suburu back in 1996 that tried to pass me and another truck on a very rough 2 lane (I-84) freeway by going between us. We were sorta irate he would try passing us, and you could tell he mistook our looks as surprise he could keep up..... until his tie rod SNAPPED!!

You could say that. :D I make one puke a quart and a half of trans fluid once and got a pat on the back. Best part is that i just moved it from the parking lot to the garage.

When I got my truck back in 07 I tried to do as much research as I could and found that in one review, cant remember where, but it was a trustworthy place, rated the ridgeline ahead of the tacoma in a lot of the categories. Personally I dont like the ridgeline at all, and I couldnt bring myself to owning one, and dont see how the ridgeline could out perform a tacoma. It is all peoples opinions, and I could never own one.

Its not a locker per say, more of a manipulation of the brakes and the gas simultaniously.
