    4.56 gears, rear trutrac,DT header, 235/85r16 Duratracs, 2nd filter pulled, inter.wipers, Cruise control, Factory alum. whls/winter tires(2nd set), Afe pro Dry-S , Dumbo eared flaps cut down.
    .... I hear Honda Ridgeline has better filters...:stirthepot::popcorn:

    yeh i noticed it too and started a thread a few days ago. the japanese one "looks" better..... the dealership i bought my truck at said there is no difference in filtering ability.

    Not inferior on the inside or outside. Just had a case of 10 shipped to me. I KNOW that $14.96 (plus shipping) an oil filter is more than double but people buy dumber shit for their car. And many will argue that regular oil is just as effective as synthetic but we keep on buying Mobil 1 like it ain't going out of style and pay more than double for that.

    Maybe we can post a thread about all the worthless shit that people have bought for their car and try to figure out how much they wasted on that. At least the filters I bought serve a superior maintenance function (in my head). Next time I will buy some naked ladies for my mudflaps or some carbon 'vent holes' for my front fenders. Or how about some fake fleshy testicles, I don't ever get tired of seeing that.

    none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
    I have 230,000 miles on my taco, its still in pristine condition, and all I've ever used is cheap-o fram and Walmart oil filters. I don't think spending an extra $5 is going to make your truck last any longer.
