Tow Points

I bought my truck just before christmas when there was a lot of snow, and a habit i instantly threw my big tow chain in the back incase I needed to pull cavaliers out of the ditch on the way to work. Well the first time i washed my truck I noticed there arent really any good places to even attach the chain to the tacoma. Have any of you come up with solutions? Down the road I plan on just buying ARB bumpers front and rear, but that might not be for a few years. So frusterating.

do you have a tow package or a hitch installed?

( i did a $113 investment of a hitch to protect my back end/bumper)

if so use the ball or a hook,or in worse case the hitch pin
you can get the heavy duty hook for about $20 on a class 4 mount at
harbor freight?

just a few cheap ideas

Have a double ended hooked rope for use on the front hooks, another rope with loops to use in the rear (just slip it over the hitch ball). Each work fine for recovery, pulling trees down.

Or as Phanton said, use a hook insert in the hitch.

I just hook it up to my muffler in the rear and my grill in the front. No problems so far.
