yes, that shouldn't matter. Lift won't void the warranty all by itself. They only void the warranty if the lift kit is proven to cause some failure. However, since you have a lift, the alignment may not come out tight without new UCAs.

it took the dealer about 2 hours to get mine done. that was because i had people in front of me, i think the actual work time is about 15 minutes.

    Trip report:

At the above mentioned oil change, the dealership said they'd look at the problem, but never found anything. They attributed it to the transmission still "learning" (it was the truck's 5k mi oil change).

For the 10k mi oil change I went to the same dealership, but this time brought a print out of the applicable TSB. As soon as I showed the technician the TSB, he noted the number and said they'll take care of it. About an hour later, I got the truck back and the technician said that they test drove it and could reproduce the problem. So, they flashed the PCM as per the TSB. I could immediately tell a difference when driving it. It drives like I expected it to now! It has only been a day since the work was performed. I'll keep an eye on how it performs.

So, lesson learned: bring a hard copy of the TSB and keep at it!

Since they are referenced in TSBs, they are probably only for use in resolving customer complaints. The transmission programming may have been added to recent software updates, based on my experience with the gas pedal recall and better shifting afterwards. Maybe they put a new major software update into production vehicles after yours was built.

I have this problem going on . If i shift manually a couple of times it seems to learn that for a bit and then goes back to the crazy shifting. Does this work for a truck with the TRD supercharger? Do they have a new flash for that. Well prob going to make an appt to get the recall for the floor mats done and have them do this too.

not to many, love it the way it is
Got my 09 re flashed as per the TSB for the second time. Had it flashed a long time ago and the tranny lag came back. This time I hope the tranny re flash stays because the tranny shifting is spot on with the timing,no lag at all. also got new plugs with my 30k maintenance, smooth and nice.

Does anyone have this same TSB for the 2011's? I have the 2011 Off-road and it has the hard shifting and lagging. Thanks.
