    Typical cop power trip...

I'm glad my parents talked me out of getting into law enforcement. Probably would have gone to my head too...

Dont even start bashing the cops. He was giving his honest opinion. I think cops are going to harrass the crap out of someone for those lights. Good thing you arent a cop, you would be a huge prick if you were. Instead, youre just a little prick!

You guys are right you shouldn't hate on the police just for being the "Man". I can also see where 2009silver is coming from because where I grew up most of the cops were just a few years older than me and they were all on a power trip trying to screw the girls I was dating so I was always getting harrased & searched for no reason, that kind of shit can affect how you view law enforcment down the road.

You're not supposed to talk about it.

I've never had a problem with mine and I've been running them for a couple years now.

fair enough...i can see how prior experiences can affect ones judgement BUT law enforcement is...as a whole...not that way

on a daily basis they are accused of many things...including harrassment and violation of rights...regardless of if the claim is true or not...and most of the time its unfounded and their reason for making contact with the person is completely legitimate

however a bad experience does not justify declaring cops as a whole as being on a power trip etc etc

doing the job is INCREDIBLY dangerous and there are many times where what we do comes across as rude/bothersome but its done for our safety

theyre also there to enforce the laws that are in place (regardless of whether or not the laws SHOULD be in place) and if youre a law abiding citizen...you wont have any trouble
