DIY MP3/Phone dock

alright so i have been getting really annoyed because there isnt anywhere to put my phone or my zune in my truck in a visible spot. so i bought some crappy dock from wamart but the suction cup fell off.

so i decided to make my own dock out of the old one.

sorry i dont have pictures of the process but i have pictures of it done.

so first thing first i sawed off the suction cup part of the dock only leaving the part that screws in.

I then took off the little black triangleish shape things near the radio and grinded down the back so it was smooth.

After i drilled a 3/4 inch hole in the plastic triangle part and i used JB Waterweld to mount the threaded part i cut off the suction cup to the back of the triangle thing.

I let it set then put it right in

haha thanks man it was atcually really easy took about 30 min max and in that time i had to go to the store and buy a bigger bit.
