oil filter cross reference?

looking for part number of the wallymart brand "supertech" oil filter that fits my 06 with the V6.
what about mobil1 or bosch?

Go to Advance Auto Parts and get a Purolator PureOne instead.

Huh? I wouldn't, Mobil1 is like M1-109, my 2.7L takes M1-102.

^I would. Purolator PureOne is one of the best performing out there. Check the filter studies. Or maybe someday I'll have access to a scanner and I can post the years of oil study reports that I have.

Here is what Toyota says:
Genuine Toyota Oil Filters are designed specifically for your Toyota engine. Features of the Genuine Toyota Oil Filters include:

A bypass valve, which alleviates restricted oil flow in the event of a clogged filter.
An anti-drainback valve, which prevents oil from draining out of the engine and into the oil pan, helping to protect your engine from increased wear during cold starts.
A filter element which effectively filters contaminants and maintains the engine's lubrication capability during the maintenance interval. By comparison, a lesser quality filter element might clog during Toyota's recommended maintenance interval leading to engine wear, seizure or other problems. Some non-genuine oil filters do not meet all of Toyota's stringent specifications.

Toyota recommends changing your oil filter and motor oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months.

its not the m1-109 that fits, its the m1-102 and for more oil capacity its the m1-209.......a bit of a bigger filter that will flow more oil than oem.

I like the K&N Part #HP-1002. It will last the 12,500 that you can well expect from synthetic. And has the anti drainback valve to prevent dry starts. It is larger than OEM and has 40% more flow and traps 10 microns. $9.99 from WWWPerformanceProducts. 1-800-553-2840

yes,definitely, these days most all oil filters have an anti-drain valve.
