Mine are 6"s around and I think they are perfect. I also got the driving ones instead of the off-road ones because the driving ones give off a straight solid beam, the off road ones give off a scatter beam.

How are you guys mounting these lights. Are you fabricating your own brackets. I don't know about your trucks but my 2010 has an aluminum, boxed beam that forms the inner bumper. Are you riveting brackets to this? Help!!!

iv been looking into lights also, havent decided which set yet.

im thinking of mounting 2 lights flush with my grill, stock tacoma grill, and cutting out the diameter to mount the lights with the grill. what do you guys think of that idea? anyone else done that, id love to see a picture of it

Not really. The metal brace on the top and the braces on the side make it pretty sturdy.

I have some hella 500ffs behind my grill craft. I think they are great for the money. The black magics look sickkk but a little pricy.

You can either do niteshades on them or a tinted film. Both will reduce output a little but it will give the look of the black magic.
