I don't see anything there that's not replaceable / fixable. Even if the frame rails are bent, they can be straightened (the beauty of body on frame, it's a lot simpler to fix). Just be glad it's in the rear, the front is a lot trickier to get back to 'normal' after it gets bent up.

Did you get any shots of the Scion? I have a feeling it got jacked up after eating your bumper like that.

We won't be able to tell if it's totaled by just a few pictures. It also depends on the value of your truck, but in my nonprofessional opinion, I don't think it should be totaled.

I'm sorry to hear you got injured in the process. Just a word of warning from experience: the Scion's insurance company will try to buy you out on your injuries. Meaning they will offer you a lump sum and ask you to sign a document releasing them from further liability / payments / lawsuits. This can be either really good, or really bad for you.

If you're confident that you won't have any lingering issues with your head / neck (doctors say so, it's been a while and you feel fine, etc)... you can make some cash off of the buyout from the insurance company. But if you sign and take the money and then have lingering effects, you won't have any recourse against them in the future. It's really not that big of a deal, but I've seen people sign when they see an offer for a couple of grand and then get screwed in the long-run when they need more medical attention.

Get feeling better, and let us know how it all turns out.

Glad to hear you weren't hurt! Insurance can pay for repairs on the truck, but can't pay for your life back..
