Are the lighter socket and power outlet the same? Can I lose the lighter and put the same cap or cover on the light socket? Is there a part number? I'm not a smoker and thinking cosmetically. Two caps would look better to me than one lighter and one capped power socket as is.

    Thanks

Not sure for tacomas. Some other vehicles ,the lighter has heavier duty components for the heat than the power port, might be amps too.
