    I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post but I wanted to share something cool that another member did for me.

    Nine months ago (February 2009), I posted something about a car seat in the back of a double cab 2nd gen. The post included a picture of my car seat installed.

    See post ---> HERE

    Anyway, I received a private message over the weekend from someone who saw that particular post. She said she is a Certified Car Seat Tech and pointed out that my car seat was installed incorrectly. She also offered recommendations on how to correct the setup.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled that car seat dozens of times in the past year so I did not believe that I had it incorrect. I read that PM and ran outside to check. Sure enough...I HAD IT WRONG!

    My daughters safety is #1 in my life and I immediately changed to the correct setup. So I just wanted to share this story and say "Thanks" to morninglor for being a great member of TW and for offering this information to me and my family.

    I think the seat belt should be going through the hole in the child seat back. this would keep it from going forward, where as now the seat could rotate forward.

    Well, it's kind of embarrassing because it was a stupid mistake :rolleyes: I have the strap inserted through the rear-facing slot (toward the front of the seat). It is supposed to go through the holes in the rear for forward facing.

    I just thought it was cool of someone to go out of their way to notify me about this.

    And by the way...this is an awesome car seat. It works for both front and rear facing, is easy to strap in and tilt and seems to be comfortable for the child. Evenflo Triumph. It holds kids from 5#-40# (newborn to at least 4yrs old).
