Delineation of 1st & 2nd Gen Tacoma's?

What are the year / model that designates one from the other?

Commencing when they first came off the production lines.

Just curious

It's easy to shoot down range if you know your target & dope.

I agree too, but tcBob doesn't differentiate them into 3 distinct gens for the "gen1" Tacos. There differences in the length of leaf packs between 95.5-97 and the 98-00 & 01-04s. The 1st 2.5 years had the shorter ones IIRC. Leaf packs along with different MAFs too. The only 2 main differences I can recall other than looks.
