Skyjacker suspension lift
I purchased a Skyjacker platinum series suspension kit and had it installed professionally. When the installer assembled the coilover he found out that we were missing a part, a bushing/spacer for the bottom mount (the part was not even on the list of parts). So he called Skyjacker and they sent it UPS overnight. The following day, after the installation was done, we noticed that we were only getting 0.5 inch of lift up front. The installer followed all the installation instructions and my truck has no mods up front except for the CAI so there are no issues with weight. The installer did some adjustments but could only manage a total of 1.5" lift up front. If he compressed the coilover some more the ride would be like a rock (I would say the ride now is firm).
I talked to Skyjacker today and they said everything is right on (the part number and the measurements that they asked me for) and that I should have gotten 2.5-3" of lift as advertised but I am not. Do you guys have any suggestions or advice. |

I should have gotten a DR. The ride was great until we have to make adjustments to the coilover to get some more lift.
