Does unhooking the bat for a while mess up your trip set?

So i noticed that my MPG are lower than normal. This past week i filled up a full tank of gas. drove around until 3/4 a tank. did some mods over the weekend (added interior leds, bed lights, reverse lights, and DIF breather MOD).

here is my question. Should any of this effect my MPG? I don't think it should?

I'm down to 1/4 of a tank and have only clocked about 160 miles!!!

I usually average 18 MPG. WTF? I think our tanks are around 18/19 gal tanks right? So i should be getting over 300 miles per tank. At this rate i'l barely brake 200!

I did unhook the bat while doing the light mods? could this reset my trip set or something with the computer to effect MPG?

Could i have done the DIFF breather mod wrong, maybe the diff is not BREATHING?

    any ideas?

and no have been using the same gas, and driving the same way :)

unhooking the battery will reset your A and B trips, but will not affect your ODO. Before unhooking your battery, write down your trip numbers and odometer reading and use that for the future.
