    hello tw members,

just wondering if i should be concerned reading about multiple threads re 4 leaf springs on the dc tacomas and about tsb.

i just checked my 2010 DC LB TRD sport 4x4 and saw that i have only 3 leaf springs. is this normal?

my buddy also got a 2010 DC SB TRD sport 2WD at the same time with the same dealer and his has 4 leaf springs which left me wondering what the deal is with mine having only 3 leaf springs.

looking forward to tw peeps to enlighten me re this issue.

Well I'm not an expert on this topic but I believe you need the TSB. Unless they changed things for 2010. If you only have three leafs in the pack, you should have four. Canadians have never had this TSB issue. I have an 09 DC LB and I got four leafs. Maybe your buddys truck had a later build date and they have since fixed the problem.

Your buddy's truck would be the first american taco I've heard of that came from the factory with four leafs.

I was at the largest Toyota dealer in the USA for warranty service, two TSBs. I walked around the lot checking Access cab, double cab Prerunners 4x2 & 4x4s. They all had the 3 leaf pack on 2010 models.

not to many, love it the way it is
^ Yep, the Americans like those cushy rides. Toyota is just giving us what most people want and asked for, a sagging rear end

You could call Toyota CS. There will most likely be a revised TSB for "Rear Spring Harsh Ride" including 2010 model Access cab & Dbl cab Prerunners. After all, Toyota has revised this TSB twice already.

Just be aware that most people who got the TSB done report that your ride will be a little less comfortable during daily driving with the four springs.
