I have a 2005 4wd Tacoma, the driver side leaf spring broke. What is the best replacement spring for my truck? Is this a job I can do at home? What kind of installation problems has anyone encountered? I tow a double axle RV on occasion. Please help.

Yes, this is something you can do at home. there are a few write ups on how to install an AAL, which is the same prosess. Which spring broke? Do you have a pic?

No picture, its the middle spring. It had a kink on it for a a coulple of days before it snapped in two. I am hearing a 4 pack is the way to go.

You shoudl be able to find someone selling their TSB spring pack, or 3 leaf pack, pretty cheap.
