Starting my truck this morning from overnight cold soak. Sounded like the solenoid did not fully retract the gear on starter. Rapid clicking as the engine started up. I immediately turned it off and thought it might be the starter. Went back inside to get something and it started normal when I attempted for second time... Hope the flywheel did not suffer any damage.

Anybody replace starter on their 07? Easy to get to? Cost? Unfortunately, this truck is outta warranty...

Looks tight, but pretty straight forward.

Have not experienced this again, just know it is a matter of time before it happens again. Problems don't go away by themselves... thanks.
