Wheel balancing helped most of the problem but came to find out the U-joints were wearing unevenly due to unbalanced drive shaft. This eventually caused a whistling/squeak in the rear of the vehicle during acceleration at between 40-50 mph. Drives very smooth now.

First thread I found, but my 2005 Tacoma was having the issue most mentioned with the U-Joint. Got it at shop for now while they try to track down the parts they need.

It started a few weeks ago but today sounded worse. It had been vibrating pretty bad once I hit the 20 MPH to 40MPH and then kind of fade away.

So A couple months ago I started to notice some vibrating during exeleration in the range of 20-70 mph after a couple weeks it the shaking got a lot lighter and turned more into a rattling,
It’s not vibrating so hard now, but today I started to notice vibrating when lightly excelerate to maintain my speed but it’s only for a split second and then it feels fine,
I’m probably wrong but it almost seems like something is catching bad when I first accelerate,
I’m also hearing a clunk any time I go into reverse or drive, not sure if it’s related at all,
    Thanks for the help!

    Get the universal joints replaced.
