    I just cut a couple of aluminum pieces with a hack saw and mounted them at the top of the grill...they are quite sturdy and do not shake at all. I went with the Hella 700FF Driving lights. You might wanna relocate the horns to the holes directly behind the battery...they screw in perfectly and give a clean look.

    The lights are quite heavy and the engineer in me says it won't take long for the plastic to fail, especially with all the plastic supports cut out of it. The lights don't touch the horns so they are fine in the factory position.

    Thanks. And yeah, when I cut the center out for the grillcraft, the bottom horizontal piece lost all its strength. The grillcraft added som back but certainly not enough to hold any light firmly.

    As long as the halo's are white it shouldn't be a problem. Ontario does however have a law about having too many driving lights on while on public roads. Don't ask me how I know that one... they were going through the HTA to find something to nail me with...
