I just wanted to start a thread to see how many people have a 3-inch lift on their 4x2 OR 4x4 Tacoma. I have the 4x2 Prerunner 2009 Sport with the Toytec Ultimate Lift. My friends made fun of me and said that I should have gotten the 4x4. I just didn't think that I needed it because I live in the city and hardly go offroad...couldn't justify the extra 2-3 MPG loss. I just wanted a little height and a more aggresive look.

Tons of people have 3'' lifts on their Tacoma, wether it be a Prerunner of a 4x4. ;)

I've got a 3" Lift on my PreRunner. It doesn't matter if you have a 4x2 or 4x4 if you lift it as long as it's what you want to do. The Tacoma is a pretty capable truck so even if you only have the PreRunner it can still go plenty of places.

Those are the Predator Nerf bars. They came factory installed I'm sure because my truck came with them. I think that option ran about $425.00 installed.

Who cares what anyone else thinks, it's your truck. Your buddies are just jealous cause when you get that lift on the truck it'll look better than theirs.

I am considering the Toytec Ultimate kit.

    1. How's the ride quality & handling?
    2. Which rear option AAL or OME leaf pack?
    3. Stock UCAs or aftermaket?
