I just install a set of the HALO HID, it is SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the light pattern suck, it is worse that I have the OEM headlight housing with the Hi/Low HID on it.

I am trying to return it to the ebay seller. Or I get some discount from the seller, since the item that I recieved is not what he list on the ebay.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360204287141
1 - it dose not have the lighted eyelid.
2 - it come with the old style transformer, not the one they listed.
3 - the HID i beleieved it is not 8000k.

So this three point here I hope I can get the replacement.

Do not buy anything off from this seller.

1 - did you hook up all the required wires for the halos and eyelid?

2 - what transformer are you talking about...the ballast? if so, an egay chinese ballast is an egay chinese ballast, im betting the internals are the same either way.

3 - how do you know it is not 8000k? it should be a deep blue output at 8000k and most likely less output than your oem bulbs, as the higher the kelvin, the less lumens...but you already knew this correct?

I am experienceing this very same problem with a seller on ebay.

I think we should develop a I GOT BURNED list of the vendors/sellers that have taken advantage of us so that others may potentially avoid these experiences.

Also, if we have a bad boy list we should have a good guy list.

Maybe we can have a mod make a sticky in the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum, one sticky for each.

That would help us all out and save me and wing103 from those a**holes.

Invisionz111, I totally agree your plan.
Set up a list, who is good or bad seller, vendor out there. So make everyone safe.

Weathertechs, personally fabricated tailgate lock, tint, extra D rings, Exactfit seatcovers, re-enforcing the tailgate and adding a leaf next week.
If your lights are defective, or not what was advertised, you can always open a case with Ebay. It helps if you paid with Paypal. They will nail his hide to a wall. I bought a Bullydog programmer for my Ram 2500 on Ebay. Advertised as new, arrived with no packaging and missing the OBDII cable. Tried to correspond with the seller for a month. Gave up and called Ebay. They refunded my purchase plus shipping, and I got to keep the unit. All I had to do was borrow a cable from a buddy and I was set. Ebay doesn't mess around, from my experiences with them.

I just put my HID halos in (like the retro, but like the look of the halos better) and everything is good to go. A few hiccups - the wiring on the halo rings and leds were backwards and the instructions were crap. Brother in law helped me out and they work great and look better (to me IMO:D). Anyways, I bought from mrjdm and the product was delivered quick and everything it said it was. If you'd like some pics of what they look like, PM me
