Well i have a 3 inch spacer lift with add a leaf in the back of my 05 tacoma and i keep hitting my fenders with my 33s. My friend told me to add a 1 inch body lift but i cant find one lower than 3. does anyone know if they even make 1 inch body lifts for 2nd gen tacomas?

Did you trim the inner fender? Where are you rubbing specifically?

I generally like avoid body lifts like the plague...but I know you can make them yourself, or take a 3 inch kit and cut them down to size.

If I were you, I'd save up and upgrade the suspension lift, and not mess around with a crapload of spacers (because that's what a body lift really is).

Yeah i trimed the inner fender and even some of the black plastic but it still manages to hit parts of the back...its hard to tell where exactly it hits but i noticed a my tread on the outside had a small piece missing.

you may be rubbing on the cab mount. have someone cut the wheel all the way over until the back of the wheel is tucked in and see if they are hitting the cab mount. if so, the way people are fixing that is having it cut and rewelded

thnx for helping btw i appretiate it

^^ that or measure from the inside lip of the rim to where the wheels mount on the inside of the rim.

I also have the duratracs in 285/70/17. Are you talking about the very bottom part of the fender flare, closest to the cab? Because I had to trim a piece on both sides to avoid rubbing. Have you had an alignment done yet? When I had mine done, I asked them to move the wheel as far forward as possible, to avoid possible rub on the body mount. I figured its easier to trim the front part of the wheel well.
