Relocating factory trailer light plug.

    Has anybody relocated the trailer light plug that comes equipped with the factory towing package? The thin metal bracket Toyota uses hold it in place bent on a recent hunting trip as it scrubbed the ground while driving through a mud hole. I want move it to eliminate the problem.

    I relocated the 7 pin on my Dodge to inside of the bed. I'll try and get pics this weekend.

    Thanks! IMO, that should be done at factory being that these trucks don't have the best ground clearance. I can't wait to get this done.

    I never had a problem with mine and I go on dirt/bumpy roads all the time when I go to the river. Granted I am not a crazy off-roader, but I take my time and notice what is around me. Get a lift and some 33's and no need to relocate...IMO!
