"Probable speeding"? What state is that? It's not gonna fly in Oregon. Commercial drivers in Oregon are prohibited from having a radar detector, nobody else is. It's a free-for-all here in Oregon, but now "photo-radar" is getting really popular.

I have one. It just won`t help you.
I would have a lot of fun with the DA with a "probable" speeding cite. You hear a new one every day. |

EVOC + skid pad = FUN
best way to avoid a ticket is to not speed...period on top of that...slowing down saves some gas...nice little side benefit there i used to drive like a maniac...i pushed my old volvo to 115...ive been in a honda accord at 140...my truck i think i mightve gotten to 95...the crown vic i got to 120 then backed off... I've been pulled over probably 20-25 times...ive had 4 tickets...2 by SCHP...1 Local city cop...one TSP...the local city cop wrote on the ticket itself that a detector was present...judge gave me no help...the 2 with SCHP were without...got both tickets reduced without even having to see the judge... TSP is a whole nother story that im not getting into...he was wrong...saw out of state plates...figured he'd get an easy ticket...i didnt have time to fight it...he won... i guess my thing is just...why spend $400 on something that doesnt get you anywhere any faster...when you could save that $400 plus another $400 on gas from slowing down...and then buy something else that you can enjoy safely |

Jammers are prohibited bt the FCC for obvious reasons.
You can have my radar detecter. It won`t dectect the new stuff. I took it out of the Taco to install red and blues. Once again, I am not a traffic cop. And have no intenten in developing an interest. I do cite for unsafe lane changes when they come down in front of me. Just the really risky stuff. I make mistakes too. When I do, I beat myself up more than a cite. As I don`t know where my cite book is, I would have to call it in. |
