    Yea, retrofits with actual HID projectors are your best bet. I wanted to do that with my Impala SS. I was quoted nearly 800 bucks to have it done. So I just went with an HID kit in the stock lights. But as I mentioned before it wasn't too bad since it wasn't a truck and was lower to the ground. I won't do HID's in the Taco unless it's with a proper retrofit.
