I have 08 OR DC short bed and want to install 5100's to get 1.75" lift in front and put a 1.5" aal in rear.
First off, will this look stupid with stock wheels and tires, and mainly,
do any of you have this setup and have any vibration or alignment problems?
    (after a re-alignment)

Stock wheels and tires will look fine, maybe a little small but if you can live with that then you will be fine.

And yes, you will have to re-align the truck.

Any suspension modificiation calls for a re-alignment IMO.

I think stock tires are 265/70/16

You could jump up to a 265/75/16 with no rubbing issues...well you might have to remove the mud flaps but no biggie :)

They will not look small at all; it would actually look really nice. I have my 5100 set to 2.25 with stock sports wheels and tires and I love the look. Stocks are 265-65-17.

I hope I didn't offend anybody. I was just stating my opinion. Sorry if I pissed anybody off.

No trimming yet. I rubs a bit when I back up with the wheel turned to left. I also have 1.25 wheel spacers.

Thanks for the pics - they all look nice. No one said anything about vib. problems or handling, so Im guessing its not an issue, or should i get the carrier drop brackets?

Thanks, I really like this setup on my truck much better than stock. May switch to 265/75R16 once these rugged fails wear out or I get sick of looking at them...and have some extra cash . Probably black out my rims at the same time.

What's weird is that I got almost 2" of lift from this kit with the Billies set at 0, not that I'm unhappy with it though ;). Results on lifts seem to vary slightly depending on the truck, since mine's a pre-runner the front end is a bit less heavy than a 4x4 and could explain some of the extra lift.

Why would you lift it if your going to keep the same size tires? IMO a lift is made to fit bigger tires for more ground clearance..

    Choptop,
unless you adjusted the front 5100s before you put them on they are at 1.75" lift. They are set at 1.75" out of the box.
Looks really good I have the exact same setup.

    Swise-
you will not be dissappointed. i still have the stock rugged fails and they look a little small but i'm waiting till i get full use out of em before i get my baby a new set of shoes. i haven't had an vibe or alignment issues.

I'm trying to fit 33's on my truck you guys think that the 5100's will give me enough clearance to fit the 33's or should i get a ready lift with 5100's in the front to get that prerunner look
