I'm assuming it's probably the best "mod" you've ever made.

I am in the same boat or actually not in the boat, dammit. I have been trying to find a rack that I want to get the kayaks and hit the water. I like the tracrac but I was thinking of having one of the vendors build me a rack out of the same pipe the sliders are done in.

Not sure yet. Why cant I fit a Gobi Rack on my truck???

I got lucky and got one of the Lowes close out prices Tracrac. Its light and looks good, but that doesn't mean I will keep it. Always looking at different ways and racks to transport my yaks and cargo

Finally got around to installing my sway bar drops. Got tired of the noise every time I hit a bump.

Took it out for a little 4WD-gear exercise. For anyone still riding the fence on doing the YWM, just do it already. For something so quick and easy, that mod is the shit! There was one hill I couldn't make in 4-Hi because it was too steep and nothing but broken rock all the way up. If I hadn't pulled that wire Id've been backing down some pretty ugly business, but 4-Lo with the mod cranked me right to the top.

Edit: Also developed a new squeak/rattle somewhere in the driver's door or left side of the dash while off-road. That's going to drive me nuts until I find the little somanabatch!

It looks like Rustoleum Hammered metal to me. It gives a textured look that is both visual & physical. Here it is in silver.
