What we're trying to tell you is that whoever told you that you needed only add more R134 and you're fine is wrong. Period. End of story. You're welcome to ignore us but don't try to make it seem like we don't know what we're talking about because we're not wrong. R134 is NOT something that just gets burned off or used up contrary to what people who are simply trying to make a quick buck will tell you. It's a sealed system and shouldn't require 'topping off' unless there's a problem which can lead to more expensive repairs. All of this is especially true on a vehicle that is only 3yrs old.

... ^^^ ... That setup looks very nice and it looks better OEM than Toyota OEM (highest compliment possible) ... :D

As an old time builder of "Heath Kit TVs" (with vacuum tubes and no cold solder joints) ... you could be wiring the Space Shuttle grasshopper ... :D

I started 100,000 mile maintenance on my '05 DCSB 4x4 today, getting ready for a 3000 mile round trip to Wyoming next month. Started by doing the carbon filter removal from the intake, then cleaned the MAF and throttle body (thanks genxer36 for the excellent writeup about that), changed the plugs with new NGK 6199 Iridiums, lubed front drive shaft U-joints, found possibly dry joint in at front of main shaft (no grease fittings in main shaft). After getting it back together, went out and did an "Italian Tuneup". Without that carbon filter, and all the other things done, it sure seemed to run like a striped a$$ed ape!.

Me too! Lubed the shafts and cleaned the K&N after installing the one sitting on the shelf. The used one is all cleaned and oiled and waiting for the next time!

I probably will gain about 5 mpgs and another 30 horses or so:D:thumbsup::woot:

Yeah, sure, but I will be cleaning the MAF and TB today, just didn't have the spray yesterday!:(

I also took the tailgate apart. The latches were hanging up and not latching. The handle was hanging up also. Cleaned and lubed all of it and it is working like new!
