My best friend has been stationed there since he finished basic.

He has had his stereo stolen from his truck twice in 2 years. One time on post, one time off - in broad daylight.

Ironically, if he reenlists, he'll be going to Hawaii.

That is some pretty terrible luck, and would definitely shape a strong opinion, but it's honestly not that bad at all. I've been here 4 years, minus a year in Afghanistan, and never had any issues and known plenty of people who haven't run into anything out of the ordinary. Sure, there are parts of town you stray away from but overall not bad, besides the terrible drivers.

HOWEVER, I don't wanna jack this thread any more than I have, so I'll leave it at that.

I had friends who lived on the other side of Okanagan Lake. Some of the pictures they had were crazy.

Yeah that fire was 5 years after(98') the Silver Creek/Salmon Arm, BC fire in the Shuswap. It was a scary experience to live through that's for sure.

Finished my exterior LED conversion since my turn signal bulbs showed up. To my knowledge, the ONLY filament bulbs left in the truck at all are the reverse lights and the two in the climate controls. I actually have LED replacements for the climate control bulbs, I just have yet to put them in :p Everything else has been changed to LED's (excluding the headlights, which are HID... not sure which category those fall under, LOL).

yes, I converted the rear to RED turn signals; for some reason I think yellow back there looks goofy...

and a look at my sad headlight... will have to stay that way until at least next weekend (not this weekend). I'll get projector retrofits on the way Thursday or Friday so hopefully everything will come in during the week next week. Don't want to have to open the headlight more than I need to, lol. it's sad really; it wasn't showing the slightest sign of moister until I washed it last week... guess I should have just left it dirty

    Def a proper FTFY....

I'll just drop this here: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=el paso

A year in El Paso isn't bad. It'll be done before you know. The city itself can only offer insanely good Mexican food. Other than that take your truck to Cloudcroft, NM, or Gila National Forest, great mountain roads up there. Definitely check out Big Bend National Park a real hidden gem few get to see. Oh and On Wisconsin!

For what I did today... I changed my oil today.

Just installed a Borla 140140 exhaust that I had to cut down to a 140160 because I have a short bed. The guy bought it and used it for 5 days and his wife made him take it off. He couldn't return it so he sold it to me. :D
