If you want to get rid of the ethanol, use what the boat guys swear by, Starbrite Startron. Enzymes eat the ethanol out of the fuel, and if you put too much in with the gas, it's ok, it won't fuck up anything. I got turned on to it because my small engine carbs were getting destroyed by the ethanol.

Granted, it's another expense when fueling up, but it is a viable alternative to using ethanol mixture gasoline and ruining something.

Got this Toyota wind-up flashlight as a gift at the dealer. Probably won't keep it in the truck, though.

Dare I say the same thing about Demello Offroad. I sent them a PM basically saying same thing, have funds and ready to order but had a question about a modification I wanted them to do. No reply at all, I guess they just don't want business

    Yep.
All fab shops deserve SOME slack. If you guys only send one message and don't get a response in a couple days, send another. Still no response... try a different method (PM's can and do get lost in the system), actually pick up a phone and call, find their email on their sites. Still no answer... pick a different vendor unless you are set on what you want.

On that note. I do not recommend Relentless.
(I have F/R bumpers and sliders from him)

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Parked it. for the next month or so.

I broke my hand and leg working at scout camp to open it up for the summer. Now i get to sit back and do nothing.
You'll see in the photo of the leg I pulled one of the screws out a bit from the last time I broke it.

I do agree. Most of the fab shops are small. If they make a good product, then they will be swamped. It requires patience. Buying from them is not like from Amazon. The owners are guys like us trying to survive.

Techron is a fuel system cleaner, Startron is an enzyme and fuel stabilizer. Two different uses, each with it's moment to shine. I use Startron to get rid of the ethanol in my gasoline. As ethanol sits over time, it falls out of suspension and binds to itself. It actually eats through carb bowls and perforates them!

After losing 2 gallons all over my shed floor due to a stuck float in my chipper carb, I asked the repair shop owner what to use. He says the marine (boat) guys invented this stuff to keep outboards from being destroyed. You can overmix this stuff into your gas and it won't harm the motor. I've read reviews that people are putting into their daily drivers and getting better mileage (I haven't done that yet). I've just been using it in my small engines (lawn mower, snow blower, string trimmer, backpack blower etc).

If you do get this, get the concentrated version. You'll pay more, but you can treat more gallons of gasoline with it. Cheapest place I've found the concentrated stuff for is eBay, not Amazon. Some marine shop in NY state I believe.

Pick up the phone and call them. They don't surf TW all day like we do. People need to understand vendors don't only serve TW.

I see both your points...but it's a convenience factor being able to send a PM asking a question that requires a short answer. Not everyone likes making phone calls, I tend to work very long days sometimes and most days I spend 8+ hours in an O.R. where I cannot make phone calls and by the time I do get off work most shops have closed up business for the day. And being a vendor on TW and getting a lot of business from TW would lead one to believe that if a PM is sent that the vendor would be able to answer that PM within a few days. Just saying...

Guess I'll send another one and if it goes unanswered then I guess I'll move on to a company that wants my business

18k miles on the truck, greased the 5 zerks on the drive shafts (which I thought the dealer was supposed to be doing at each maintenance interval but obviously did not).

Changed out the gear lube on all the cases w/Amsoil 75W-90. Should be good now on the drive line until 100k miles.

Also decided to change the oil filter. Instead of going 15k miles on the Amsoil filter I'll put a new Toyota filter on every 5k miles. For $4 and it being so easy to do on these 4.0's I figure why not.

Found a sweet little Stormtrooper trailer hitch cover at Pepboys. Looking at it, got a little bored, and found out it lines up with the holes on my grillcraft.

    Keep or take off? haha

Now that is cool. I had a choice btwn the silver and the super white when I bought this, went with the silver, kind of regretted it since. If I had the super white I'd do this in a heartbeat. Nice.
