In Idaho the animal belongs to the Fish and Game department after it has been hit.

Typically the fish and game doesn't do anything with them unless they have a decent rack, at which point they will go cut the rack off.

    Yeah,

In Texas the driver must call the game wardens or police. Once deemed an accident the game warden can release the animal to the driver. If it is a whitetail they must have a license and tag to take the meat. The game warden has the final say so. (if they get there first)

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Wow, a law in Texas worse than NY???? Never thought that would be. As far as I know we get first dibs, and the cops can give you a possession permit regardless of licensing.

I got a viper remote start 4105V installed today. I no longer have a reverse camera in my rear view mirror (i have a 2011 trd sport). When I go in reverse, the camrea goes to grey, then blue for about 3 seconds, then disappears! the installer wasnt sure why it did that (the best buy installer). Has anyone else experience this?!

Also, kinda crazy but if I start the truck, and never hit any of the unlock buttons from the viper key fob, and I walk away from the truck after I park it, IT WONT LOCK from the key fob! I have to hit the unlock button regardless, then the lock button and all 4 doors will lock. Is this common also, please someone who has the same model let me know. idk if the guy just messed up too many wires or if this is the cost of an aftermarket remote start (i figured viper was the best after all the research I did). If this is normal, I def. would not recommend getting one!!! Anyone with help, please fill me in. Thanks a lot guys

(ALSO, again, the truck doesnt beep when I lock or unlock it, only the parking lights flash, but silently)

They messed up the install. Plain and simple. Probably spliced into the wrong wires and did not either tap into your stock horn , or install the aftermarket one. go back and complain. Ask if there is a more experienced installer.

    Couldn't help myself  :smack:

After reading this, you, UMMM, Ahhhh, aaaaaa well? :scratchhead:

trade you my truck for that choppa.
