Installed a 9 1/2x11 extra large transmission cooler, anything is better than the stock one blocked by the bumber. Along with my 98 chevy Powervision electronic power extend/retract towing mirrors and Cooper AT3 tires I'm ready for my trip to the rockies towing my 22ft Hi-lo travel trailer.

That looks good. I am going to do it eventually with the left over leather from the seats. I hope you didn't usre microsuede from joannes or some place like that. I did that to my last car and it faded within 2 months.

Bought some N Fab Steps and Access Vanish tonneau on Wed. and they were sitting on my doorstep Friday. I got them from Streetside auto for $290 and paid regular price for the tonneau, plus free shipping. Now, if the temp would just get above 10 degrees I might get to install them.

I'm not a fan of the shiny powdercoat on them so I think I'm going to give them a coat of bedliner before the install.

Hello everyone. I just purchased my 2014 access cab 2.7L 5 speed. So thats what I did to it today :D I am very excited to have it and can't wait to start modding! This is my first Toyota and it replaced my 1995 s-10 daily driver.

First up is to fix that ugly black front bumper. I am am hoping I can buy and OEM painted one (white), but I know nothing about Toyota parts. I am off to research!

In the mean-time, here it is:

Last weekend I took advantage of the warm weather and of the presidents day sales and traded in my 2012 Access cab for a 2014 Double cab. 99% of the mods that I did to the 2012 carried over to my new 2014. The dealership wanted my old truck back to stock so we swapped the wheels, tires and lift. They let us take both trucks home with us so we could swap everything over. I also swapped my Clazzio heated leather seats, skid plate and one piece driveshaft as well. No vibrations for this new truck :D There's a lot more things I want to do but with the weather over here in MD being so damn cold and with more snow on the way I have to put everything on hold for now. Well, here is how my baby sits today!

    Here's mine new 2013.
I guess I'm just confused after they made those couple years where the tundra was the taco size and the taco was a hotwheel size then I see your '14 short and my 13 tall. ??
Are Tacomas little by default and taller only with the TRD versions?

Looks like he has the base 2wd access cab with 215/15 tires. I have a base singe cab 4wd with 245/16 tires and a guy around the corner from me has a 2nd gen 2wd single cab 2wd and mine is about 5 inches higher. The TRDs may even be higher. The base 2wd truck are almost like you are in a car.

Just installed LED dome and map lights. Bought a inexpensive set off Amazon, so quality is decent but not spectacular. Overall I'm happy, only thing that bugs me is the dome light takes a second to illuminate fully, like a commercial florescent will.

I got crazy and did the "put air in my tires" mod. I know, living on the edge.

Maybe its just the angle of that shot or the distance that I was away from the truck? Here is another backed away a few steps. Dunno?

Took my new 265's in some sand. While I was at it I snapped off my antenna on a tree limb. Like it better without, but my radio doesn't work now. I don't know what to do. Any ideas?
