Oh I can make more, but the material and decals alone are over $100. That's delrin. Very nice to machine, but it's abrasive to cutting tools, and actually wears out the carbide inserts. So I just don't think most people would want to pay over $200 just for some center caps.

Installed a GW 1 dashcam, for 60 bucks you can't go wrong, for your Offroad excursions or proof in a traffic mishap they are priceless. Continuous loop in 5 minute increments on a 16 gig micro sd card with date and time stamped. Just dont splurge and buy and expensive model that has GPS that record your speed to law enforcement, you might self incriminate... Tried to show a small clip but it would not go in attachments.

What do you use the CD radio for? Do your friends also have them? Recently I hooked up a CB after years of not using one and found the channels 99.9% empty. Well; except for people talking to Puerto Rico from NYC in Spanish.

Is the quality in sound with just a head unit upgrade a huge difference?

I found it to be a minor upgrade with the stock speakers. But i attribute that more to the equalizer and being able to adjust things. Was it really noticeable? Not really IMO. If looking for sound improvement id probably go with new speakers and stock headunit vs new headunit and stock speakers. But that is just me

Initial thoughts on sound? Noticable loss of back pressure or low end torque being a 3" pipe?

I've been to Bend a bunch of times too. I went to webcyclery to order my trials bike in person, and have been to the High Desert museum a few times too. My daughter really likes that place. My dad lives in Redland.

I can tell a little bit of difference. I think the new head unit has a little more power and so you can get a little more out of the speakers than before. Also, you can adjust the equalizer to get the sound just like you want it. I will look at upgrading the speakers later. My truck is an 08 and the stock head unit basically had a CD player and FM radio and that was it. So I wanted to upgrade that first. I really like all of the options for playing music (Aux., Bluetooth, XM) and the DVD player is pretty sweet too!

I think the difference would be about the same either way. Stock head unit won't have enough power to make a big difference with aftermarket speakers, at least not in my experience. Of course, you could add an amp to take care of that. Optimal would be to change both at one time, but I'm taking baby steps right now.

Probably just depends which after market speakers you go with really. But i do agree either way would net the same difference more than likely. But the headunit first is nice to add in the EQ and bit more power. ANd i did the same as you, headunit first and speakers later....all though the later for me was just a couple weeks lol.
