What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Had one in my tundra and hated it. Hard to keep clean and it was always wet.

 

Painted my stock rims black. The finish was bubbling and chipping and looked like crap. I used my grinder with a wire wheel and a dremel to strip the old shit off. I used Dupli-Color wheel paint and primer. I think the look way better.

 

Looks good, but you might want a handle isolator

 

Installed my new grill. Made by Bullet Proof Fabrication.

 

Looks good! I did the same with tailgate by like the look of side badges. Bumper plastiderp yet to come...

 

Washed her for the first time in a year. I know, I am horrible. It took me a few hours to detail the inside. I can't wait to get the Windshield replaced. Anyone else have the TSB for the windshield noise?

I got a replacement. My '13 was totaled in an accident last month (driver ran a red a hit me). Really excited to have a taco again.

How many cans did you need to use? It looks really good.

 

Only took half a can to put on 4 coats. I'll leave it on for now until I get tired of it. I like Plasti-dip for cosmetic things, but for body armor...I'm not sure I wanna stay with this stuff. Catch a scratch or rub and it's curtains in a second with plasti-dip. I plan on putting on some real armor bumpers (All-Pro) soon, and they will be powder coated for better protection and durability
