Just got myself a shorter 17" raptor antenna. I was going to buy a shorter stubby one, but I didn't want to lose reception since I do listen to the radio a lot. I love the look/ functionality of this one, so what do you guys think?

Nice, I like it. I went with a hidden antenna, but if I went with a short one I would do what you did.

    Thank you Sir!

    Much Appreciated! love my Taco!

hehe, thank you.. it wa actually in the Toyota dealerships service bay, as they were giving her her first courtesy oil change, hehe

yes, i snapped a quick one (forgive me, its semi dark, as i was in the garage.. its just a peice of 1/4 inch carbon steel, that i drilled som holes in and used stainless steel threaded rod.. i opted to bolt it to the tire rack, instead of welding it.. I then powdercoated the bracket.. i will get you a pic of the tire in the bed when it gets light out. hehe

dont mind the dirt in the pic, i didnt clean it off when the pic was snapped

It's pretty good. Maybe not quite as good as the stock antenna? If there's a difference, it's marginal. I don't listen to the radio that much so it works great for me. Have you had a chance to put your new antenna through the paces yet?

Correct. Two projectors per headlight, for four lenses per headlight.

Just blew a PIAA bulb this morning. Those bulbs are crap and lasted less than a year.

Looking into the Lifetime LEDs, let us know how they progress.

The tires are 265/75-16. As for the sway bar...not for a while. The truck is my daily driver and a sway bar is a safety feature I want to leave intact for now.
